Inside the image: painting as a mirror of consciousness
The world exists within my consciousness.
This idea, drawn from the work of Salvatore Brizzi, is at the heart of my artistic journey. It’s not just a philosophical concept, it’s a lived truth that shapes how I paint. When I create, I’m not trying to represent something external or objective. I’m trying to make visible an inner landscape, one that only emerges through the act of observation.
From quantum observation to personal vision: a contemporary art practice
Werner Heisenberg said, “What we observe is not nature itself, but nature exposed to our method of questioning.” That sentence resonates deeply with me. I don't see my paintings as answers, they’re openings. Each piece begins as an internal dialogue, a surreal and abstract collage of emotion, symbol, and intuition.
My work is part of a broader conversation about contemporary art, one that embraces subjectivity and the ever-shifting space between perception and meaning.
Acrylic collage as language of inner landscapes
I often choose to work with acrylic collage because it allows me to layer gestures, textures, and time. Paper fragments, brushwork, scratched surfaces, each element becomes a fragment of my consciousness.
This method feels true to how inner experiences form: overlapping, contradicting, unresolvable. Every composition is both a construction and a letting go, a structure and a question.
Art that speaks to the viewer’s own filters and interpretations
My intention isn't to tell you something, it’s to invite something in you to speak. When you stand in front of one of my works, you’re not just looking at my world; you're looking at your own, through your own filters, your own consciousness.
Each painting is an open space where you’re free to feel, reflect, interpret—or just be present. That’s where I believe real art lives: not in the piece itself, but in the invisible thread it creates between the viewer and the artist.
